At age 16 she made a documentary short film, “By my Very Self” which was about her sister Nina who has bi polar depression and about her father, who has Huntington's disease. Marianna directed a feature documentary “For My American Friends” which highlights Glasgow’s working class neighborhood of Maryhill.  Marianna moved to New York at the age of 17 to study with the Atlantic Theater Company, where she directed various works for the stage. Marianna currently lives in Los Angeles and is an actress, writer, director, photographer and co-founder of the production company Morning Knight. In 2006, Morning Knight teamed up with producers Cora Olson and Jen Dubin of Present Pictures to create the feature film GOOD DICK. The film premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, and she won the Skillset New Director Award at the 2008 Edinburgh International Film Festival.
CORA OLSON grew up in Washington, DC, attended the highly regarded Potomac School in McLean, VA and graduated with honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts before moving to Los Angeles. She began her career in the feature literary department of The Gersh Agency and later became the Director of Development for Collision Entertainment, where she oversaw projects at Miramax/Dimension, Disney, Columbia, Paramount, MTV Films and Universal’s Focus Features. Olson has been producing films independently since 2004, and has spoken as panelist on the topic of new models in independent distribution at both the 2008 IFP Filmmaker Conference and the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
JENNIFER DUBIN was born in Miami, Florida, and atttended the prestigious Ransom Everglades School before moving to New York to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts film school. After graduating with honors, she freelanced on various film productions including studio features Stepmom, You’ve Got Mail, Little Nicky and Knockaround Guys; the independant features Chutney Popcorn, Coming Soon, and Interview with the Assassin as well as the television and cable productions of The Sopranos and The West Wing. In 2000, Jennifer moved from New York to Los Angeles and joined the ICM Motion Picture Talent Department. She then went on to work in feature film development at Cosmic Entertainment, the production shingle for Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson, and Oliver Hudson. From there, Jennifer was hired to Sony-based, Escape Artists, where she was involved with the feature film, THE WEATHERMAN, starring Nicholas Cage. In 2004, Jennifer began producing full time with partner Cora Olson and together they formed Present Pictures.
Combining his love for stories and his passion for photography, Greek born cinematographer ANDRE LASCARIS began his career as a reportage photographer traveling around the world on assignment. Having created a significant body of photographic work, he moved to New York City, which led to the inevitable beginning of his career as a cinematographer. A graduate of AFI, Andre’s narrative cinematography ranges from the fast paced, action packed espionage thriller CONTRACT KILLERS to the delicate relationship between two people falling in love in GOOD DICK. Andre currently lives in Los Angeles but travels for the opportunity to share his passion for human stories, to bring light to characters and to inspire those who listen with their eyes.
JARED NELSON SMITH was born on the snowy shores of that great lake they call Gitchee Gummee (lake Superior for those from down the road) where he took piano lessons from Mary Margaret, the same woman who taught his mother, and learned to play whatever stringed thing he could get his hands on. Soon came the day he packed up and headed to Southern California to attend California Institute of the Arts and make this music thing official. He has since traveled the world in the back of a van with his friends making music in their band called Hello Stranger, composed music for short films, had a few terrible jobs, slept in some questionable crawl spaces and learned to play a few more instruments.  When Marianna offered him the chance to score his first feature length, Good Dick, it was an offer he could not refuse. The score was entirely composed, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by Jared mostly at Jason Ritter's Mother's guesthouse, for which he is eternally grateful.
CHRIS KROLL started his career in the 1980's in editorial honing his storytelling skills while managing technical difficulties. His credits include a wide variety of genres from teen comedy to dark sci-fi. Chris most recently finished MAD MONEY, directed by Callie Khouri starring Diane Keaton, Katie Holmes and Queen Latifah, which opened in wide-release in January 2009 and GOOD DICK, which he was proud to see debut at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
